In a dream I was approached by someone who said, “You’re Kobe Bryant’s wife”! I was startled. I don’t even know who Kobe Bryant is, other than that he’s an athlete. Yet, this person identified me as Kobe Bryant’s wife.
As soon as I woke up, I sensed the Lord was identifying something very specific about the body of Christ right now. I soon discovered that Kobe Bryant is a black basketball player and his wife, Vanessa, is Hispanic. They are an interracial couple. I knew this was significant, especially given the current racial division and hostility being stirred in the nation. I felt the Lord was highlighting this issue and revealing His heart in this hour. Then, I saw that, just earlier in the week, they had posted a photo celebrating the fact that she was pregnant with their third child.
It was then that the Lord quickened to my spirit, “The Church is pregnant with Reconciliation!”
Through the prayers and bond of the Spirit bringing believers together in increasing numbers in this hour, there is within our womb a spirit of Reconciliation, first to God and then to one another! We are pregnant with Reconciliation! (2 Corinthians 5:18-21) Even though the enemy stirs up strife and hatred, so the Holy Spirit is stirring deep love and unity within the souls of many Jesus lovers all of colors and races.
As I continued to learn more about this couple, this third child is significant for another reason. Vanessa filed for divorce in 2011, but in 2013, they announced that the divorce was called off. Kobe said, “We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled.” Thus, this third child is now being born from their reconciliation. Even though it appeared that the relationship was broken, their covenant bond stood fast. In like manner, through the covenant bond of believers in Christ, we will see Reconciliation born from our union in Christ. Whatever “irreconcilable differences” we may think we have – in Christ, we can be reconciled!
Even as the spirit of Rebellion seeks to divide and conquer, so the Church must continue in prayer and intercession, carrying Reconciliation to full-term! We must pray that all would be reconciled to God, through the blood of the cross, for only then is it possible to be reconciled to one another. Now is the time to intercede and maintain the unity of the faith in order to see the promise fulfilled. We must not give in to fear or doubt God’s intentions. What we feel growing in our spiritual womb as the Bride of Christ is the birth pangs of revival, restoration, and reconciliation.
Heaven has heard our prayers and it has already been settled. Reconciliation IS coming, but not as man would think. It will be supernatural – one in which will make us, as the Church, totally unrecognizable.
Following the first dream, it was then that I became unrecognizable. The one looking at me didn’t even know who I was because I had been so transformed. My youth had been restored and there was such life and vitality, I didn’t look like the same person!
This transformation that reconciliation will bring will so alter our mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors, that people won’t even recognize the Church any longer! The wear and tear of fighting the good fight and waging war in the spirit through the generations will disappear as we become totally transfigured into His likeness. The Church age will pass away as the Bride of Christ rises to exude and manifest the life of the Son and the joy of our covenant bond in the Spirit. We are about to undergo a massive makeover!
Rejoice, for that which is yet unseen is about to be seen. Do not weary in well doing but continue in steadfast prayer and love for one another. We are pregnant with Reconciliation!
