I want to encourage parents and grandparents to not be discouraged or fearful concerning the battles your children are facing. There is an ONSLAUGHT against this next generation because of the LEGACY they carry. We must stand in the gap together and contend for their inheritance.
I believe this particular battle is one in which we as Moms and Dads are called to STAND FIRM on behalf of our children and not give up any ground that we have gained in our own journey. The enemy will try to wear us out by throwing fear, doubt, and confusion into our homes and we must not give in. Our PRAYERS OF FAITH are critical right now. We don’t have to fight – we just have to stand – and remain standing!
“And as for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children’s offspring,” says the LORD, “from this time forth and forevermore.” (Isaiah 59:21)
If you are praying for a loved one who seems to be struggling with their faith or wandering away, speak the Word of God over their lives and do not give in to fear or anxiety. Husbands and wives – pray TOGETHER in agreement for your household. I believe this is a key prayer strategy right now in order to SECURE OUR SPIRITUAL INHERITANCE.
There are times to take prayers to the church family, but I believe THIS battle requires your HOME to become that place of God’s presence where you stand your ground and raise up a standard on behalf of your kids. Your family is YOUR spiritual inheritance and God has given YOU the authority to secure it.
Pray together, rejoice in God’s faithfulness, and make your house a place of His manifest presence that will destroy every weapon that is being raised up against you! (Some scriptures to pray over your family: Proverbs 3:1-12, Isaiah 11:1-5, 44:3-5, Jeremiah 32:38-41)

This is absolutely the HEART of what God has been speaking to me for years. I haven’t had a chance yet to go read your full article (I’m working on an art deadline) but wanted to share with you a prayer transforming concept the Lord shared with me. Jesus prayed not just for his disciples but for all who would come to him through them, “I not only pray for these but those who will follow.” Prayers have no expiration date. They never lose power and the Lord never forgets. He taught me to pray for myself and my own walk with Him first and foremost. Then as I grew in Him I could in addition apply those prayers to my children, grandchildren and to all my generations yet to be born even until the end of the age. It is warring as a light burden and an easy yoke. From the throne room instead trench warfare. He has been teaching me to pray with eternity in mind and with prayers that will be working when I am worshiping at His throne. At this point in my career I am not called to write or teach, so if any of that fits with your writing etc. please feel free to use it any way you are led. You are always a blessing!Audrey
Thank you Audrey! What a blessing!
I am 63 years old. I have been praying for my 5 daughters, their spouses, and my 5 grandchildren. I’ve been praying for my husband for over 40 years now, for him to know, love, and serve the Lord as He has called him for His purposes. We were both raised Catholic, but I have been involved in Protestant Charismatic groups for the last couple of years. I was involved in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal several years ago before that. But he was never interested. My husband asks, “How do you know that there really is a God?” It has been hard for me to be the only one in the family who prays. He will pray with me, but only when I ask him to. He never initiates. I believe that a breakthrough is coming. At least I am hoping for this. Hopefully, a Life in the Spirit Seminar or something similar will come up and he will go with me. That is how I got baptized in the Holy Spirit many years ago. Thanks.

Thank you for your obedience to write what the Lord has shown you. This is a NOW word. God is calling all His children to pray in ALL matters, but especially for our inheritance of our families. This is so timely as God has been directing & showing me that is my call of the moment – to pray for my children & grandchildren. Great Word. Praise You Jesus for your continued confirmation of this timing. Blessings to you Wanda & your inheritance. Mary
thank you! I agree 100%!
