Through a series of dreams, the Lord spoke to me concerning the journey of many women who are called to leadership during this time of reset. As we pursue His call to places of influence in the various spheres of our culture, He is revealing His plans to overturn past patterns and paradigms. If you are a woman called to leadership, it is not about a burden of proof, but of celebrating the fruit. He is shifting the focus from gender to honor. The old order is passing away as leadership is being reset for the coming reign.
First, I was shown the struggles of women who are in transition from a hidden place to a public place – those who have been silent, who are now finding their voice. There is a tendency to continually analyze your performance, comparing yourself to others in the same fields of interest. But this endless cycle of self-evaluation only serves to kill your confidence and distract you from your unique personality and the special contribution that you alone can make. The Lord says this is a new season and to stop looking behind you for past glories or successes of yesteryear. There are new rewards that await you as you look forward into the unknown and trust in the unseen.
I saw that those women whom the Lord has marked for leadership will sovereignly rise up in the ranks and stand out in the crowd, without even trying. The longing within you to participate in what the Lord is doing, draws the gift within you to a higher plain of sight, allowing you to see and hear things that others do not. As a result, influential leaders will begin to recognize you because your reputation is preceding you! As you faithfully put your hand to the plow and steward the measure He has given you, the fruit will been seen – and it will be celebrated. I even hear other leaders calling you by name! Those figureheads you once deemed “out of reach” or “above your paygrade” will begin to call out your name in recognition of your gifts and contributions to the whole.
For some women, I saw struggles with old paradigms and familiar patterns of being overlooked and rejected. Trying to find your place in a man-dominated culture has caused you to question your identity, your role, and your significance. Even among other women, you have sometimes wondered if you truly fit anywhere. But, the Lord would have you know those days are soon to be a distant memory. For in the midst of this scenario, I see men beginning to not only accept and affirm your God-given call to leadership, but embrace it and celebrate it by giving you top billing! Old patterns are about to be shifted – the first will be last, and the last will be first. Even those who once doubted your intentions or silenced your voice will now give you a platform from which to release God’s word to the collective. The trust is being established and the foundations are being secured for this collaboration of unified hearts and like-minded pioneers.
I then saw a marketplace realm and a woman coming to the table of high-level executives. In a room full of men, the woman was now being invited to sit at the front, right beside the CEO. She was accompanied and championed by One who expertly managed her affairs and championed her cause. He had opened this door for her and now the CEO was considering this woman whose work had caught his attention, But it was not because of her gender – it because of her vision. The depth of insight and clarity of forethought captured the heart and mind of this powerful leader who recognized the gift of a kindred visionary.
The woman never spoke a word, and yet this CEO began to open up and reveal his heart, including his shortcomings and longings for salvation. Truly, the favor upon this woman had given her access to the inner sanctum of this influential leader – all because she had been faithful to her call and her gift. She was not there as some token representative. She was there because she deserved a place at this table – even at the head!
Throughout these dreams there was a threaded message – to be faithful in the measure God has given you because your time is coming! There is no need to raise your hand, call for attention, or prove your case. The evidence of your call and anointing as a leader in His house will be recognized in the fruit you bear. That which you sow in the quietness of humility and obedient service to your King, will spring up in unexpected places. You will reap a harvest in fields you haven’t even sown, for the Lord is going before you, laying out the red carpet to celebrate your arrival!
These dreams confirmed a word I received in 2004 during a time of prayer. I saw doors with “men” and “women” on them. They were doors of destiny, doors that represented fields of ministry. The Lord said, “I’m going to change that! I do not see doors with gender specifications. I see doors with INDIVIDUAL NAMES on them. They are doors of the Spirit specifically labeled for individuals that have been called, anointed, and empowered for the work of the Kingdom!”
“…a great door for effective work has opened to me…” (1 Corinthians 16:9)
He said, “Speak to the doors to be opened. Claim them as your own to break the mindsets of male-female thinking and declare that every door with your name on it would be opened!” Some of the doors have been hidden behind people’s ideas, ignorance, and fear, but God said, “I want to make women PILLARS in the Church – not just supporting beams. I am the One who writes the names on the doors. Not only will I write the names of individuals on them, but I will give NEW NAMES to wipe out past associations.” History is being reset as the daughters are taking their rightful place in heavenly rule.
There is a red carpet being laid out for women leaders, but not because you’re a woman. It’s because you have been called by God, set in position by the Lord, and empowered by His Spirit. Your gift is opening doors and your name is about to be called. Steward well what He has given you and know you have a place at the table. He is saving your seat.
