COMPASSION BASED ON A LIE ISN’T GOD’S LOVE

The consistent argument that is causing such division within the Body of Christ concerning the pandemic seems to be whether or not we truly love others. For if we did, we would wear masks, we would stay at home, and we would quietly obey our government. The presumption is that if we really cared about others, we would lay down our rights, turn the other cheek, and willingly submit to the governing authorities. Our sacrificial love for others has become the benchmark for those who claim to be Christian during the lockdowns and reopening of our country.

The problem with this line of reasoning is that compassion that is based on a lie – even half the truth – is not really God’s compassion. Love that is blind and unaware of all the facts opens a door to deception and takes us further from God rather than closer. Though God is certainly love, He is also holy, and the Golden Rule was never meant to supersede His truth.

Though we can all agree there is a deadly virus at work and that innocent people are dying, this simple truth has been twisted, manipulated, and politicized into a narrative that is demonic and dangerous. The small percentage of facts concerning the threat of this virus have been mixed with deadly toxins and poisonous presumptions. Herein lies our challenge. Unless we are able to see the underlying agendas behind this virus that have been fabricated and designed for our destruction, our demonstrations of love will be misplaced. Worse yet, our seeming sacrificial actions will become the enemy’s greatest weapon against us as our disinformation puts us in chains. Until we all agree on what is true and what is not, we will keep circling this room in the dark with no clear direction and no way out. Until we agree on the proper spiritual diagnosis of this pandemic, any natural cure will be fruitless.

The reality is that we must walk in Truth before we can ever walk in true Love.

Right before Jesus went to the cross He prayed for His followers. John tells us that Jesus’s main priority was not for the world, but for His disciples. His prayer was that they would be sanctified, not by their love, but by the truth. What would ultimately set them apart from the world would be their understanding of truth, which would then direct their love.

“They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them (set them apart) in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified (set apart) in truth.” (John 17:15-19 ESV)

Jesus’ demonstrations of love and compassion were never void of reality. He consistently challenged the public and their rulers on their perceptions of truth in the midst of His miracles (see Matthew 9:23-25, 12:25-28, Mark 3:3-4). His acts of love consistently revealed a higher reality and a greater truth in order to break man’s codependency with public opinion. He repeatedly told them to open their eyes and ears if they wanted to be participants in His unseen Kingdom.

Jesus’s commandment to love others as we love ourselves was not His greatest commandment. His first commandment was to love God – with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (see Mark 12:30-31). Loving with our heart and soul seems to be our default mode. It’s easy to feel empathy and concern for the poor and weak. Loving with our mind and strength, however, is something else. It means we must use our brains and engage critical thinking if we are to love at our full God-given capacity. We must learn to ask questions and consider what is true before giving our heart and soul to something that might be built on a lie.

“When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come.” (John 16:13)

When Jesus told His disciples to wait in Jerusalem for their Helper to come, it was not just to empower them for the miraculous. He said they needed Holy Spirit to KNOW WHAT WAS TRUE. The bottom line is that until we see things as they really are, we will have no solution, no treatment, and no hope to offer to a world that is being taken hostage. Until the body of Christ agrees on our true condition and acknowledges the cancerous principalities that are eating us alive, our love will be short-lived and our acts of compassion powerless to set anyone free.

Yes, we must show care towards others and be willing to sacrifice our own desires for our fellow man. But Jesus never intended for our actions to be without understanding or void of discernment. He sent Holy Spirit so we could judge rightly and separate the truth from the fiction and the facts from the lies.

“If we say we have fellowship with Him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:6-7)

If we are to receive the same boldness the disciples experienced on that day of Pentecost, the light of the Spirit must open our eyes to the battles raging in the unseen realm. It’s only then that we will recognize the deadly pestilence as the devil’s deceptive tool to release all of hell on earth. It’s only then that the fire of God will burn in us as never before and our compassion will be transformed into the zeal of the Lord. Sanctified truth and perfected Love will bring deliverance to the captive, not because of human compassion, but a holy fire born of heaven.

The truth may be hard to believe and even harder to face, but loving in the dark will only keep all of us in lockdown. We desperately need for Holy Spirit to turn on the light.

  1. I agree with you. Pastor Murillo said years ago, “beware of being so open minded your brains fall out.” Dave Kubal, IFA , said, ” its a concern for many of us that entire segment of our population became totally subservient o whatever authority was speaking. Never questioning.”
I particularly have problems with this mentality when its been shown that everyone that died in some areas were counted and others counted everyone that was in contact with an infected person. Or the doctors that have their own agenda in things like vaccines where there is medicine already tested and on the market that works for this disease. So much false, hate filled, fear mongering. I finally shut it off and cath up every 4 or 5 days.

  2. I BELIEVE WE ARE IN FOR A GLORY OF THE LORD WITH REVIVAL THAT IS GOING TO BE SO AMAZING, I FEEL THE LORD HAS PLACED THIS ON MY HEART, PRAISE THE LORD.

  3. Hence the saying, “Sympathy for the Devil” which is what Eve succumbed to when she listened to Satan’s ‘MSM’ propaganda, and his deviation of God’s Word, God’s ‘prescription’ to enter His Kingdom not Satan’s.
Once embedded in the heart of man through the Fall, we embodied that lie and mistruth, and became the practitioners of deceit and lies, even lying to ourselves. As Jesus said:
Jn 8:43 “Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 But, because I tell the truth, you do not believe me”.
    Similarly:
Mt 15:11 “Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man, but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.” 12 Then the disciples came and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?” 13 He answered, “Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted will be rooted up. 14 Let them alone; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” 15 But Peter said to him, “Explain the parable to us.” 16 And he said, “Are you also still without understanding? 17 Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach, and so passes on?
18 But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a man. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, fornication, theft, false witness, slander. 20 These are what defile a man; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”
The real issue isn’t the Covid virus itself and how to deal with it, it is about why we are dealing with it in the first place.
As God told his people, the First Israel, which also applies to the Second Israel, Christians, ‘Keep my commandments and I will bless you, disobey, and I will curse you’. Deut 28, Lev 26.
Deut 28:20 “The Lord will send upon you curses, confusion, and frustration, in all that you undertake to do, until you are destroyed and perish quickly, on account of the evil of your doings, because you have forsaken me. 21 The Lord will make the pestilence cleave to you until he has consumed you off the land which you are entering to take possession of it”.
Have Christians been stewarding God’s nation, taking care of His House and the Blessing he gave to us. Have we been the watchmen on the tower keeping watch over our nation or have our enemies scaled the city walls and come into our midst whilst we slumbered as Jesus’ disciples did in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Satan only invades when we allow him to as Eve allowed Satan to beguile her and steal her innocence and relationship with God.
Covid-19 came because America and Christians buried their ‘talent’ and did not take care of God’s House in his absence. Lk 12:41-49, Mt 25:31-46, Mt 21:33-46, Lk 19:11-27, Lk 10:25-37.
Similarly with the repentance of David.1 Chronicles 21
1 Chron 21:14 “So the Lord sent a pestilence upon Israel; and there fell seventy thousand men of Israel. 15 And God sent the angel to Jerusalem to destroy it; but when he was about to destroy it, the Lord saw, and he repented of the evil; and he said to the destroying angel, “It is enough; now stay your hand”.”
We can only be ‘not of this world’ if we act and behave like Jesus, following his example, and therefore ‘picking up our own cross’, not thinking it was all done for us by Jesus’ cross, otherwise why would Jesus say, “Pick up your cross and follow me” and walk my course and do those things that I told you to do, which obviously we haven’t. Lk 9:23-24
Is a servant greater than his master? Paul said to ‘work out our salvation in fear and trembling’. Phil 2:12. Did we?
It is Christians who must repent, especially Christian leaders who should set the example as the Apostles, as Simon Peter and the disciples repented leading up to Pentecost as they were the ones who betrayed Jesus the most, because they had a relationship of heart and love with him.
It was they, who had their feet washed by Jesus and were guided and taught directly by him.
Christians must repent before, during and after Pentecost, otherwise we are also the ones nailing Jesus to the cross through our ignorance of Jesus’ heart.
The woman brought to Jesus who was caught in the act of adultery, which was punishable by death, Jesus forgave her, saying, ‘No one here is condemning you, neither do I. Go and SIN NO MORE’.
He loved the woman (sinner), but not her actions. God loves us, but not our actions or even our thoughts. Parents love their children, but not everything they do.
Jesus from the cross forgave us who are sinners, and so therefore we too must ‘sin no more’. Should we do less than our teacher. If we truly love God, then we should obey His son and his commandments. Our love for God is manifested in our love for our neighbour, who is also God’s child and ‘temple’.
Truth is absolutely important (worship in spirit and truth) but it only exists because of God’s Love. The truth is the train track we stay on to keep us on course. The destination is God’s Love and His Kingdom.
It is only because of love that we can be saved. That is why Jesus exhorted us to love our enemies as God loves us. Grace is the ‘talent’, what we do with it is our responsibility.
I would also like to ask that we watch Kim Clements prophecy on Donald Trump:
Trump 2020 // Prophet Kim Clement Prophecy (on You Tube)
Christians must now rally to support and vote for this man that God has ‘sent’ to us.

  4. What a confirmation of what has been on my heart! Thank you for putting it into words!

  5. The most insidious lie is always wrapped in some truth, which makes it very confusing for those lacking discernment. The virus covid-19 is real. Our national response to it is the great LIE.

  6. Great post. May the Holy Spirit reveal to us the truth about the so-called pandemic, the ongoing violent riots and the plans of the enemy against America. In Jesus’ name we pray. And the truth that we know will set us free. To God be the glory!
