HARDENED HEARTS WILL MAKE WAY FOR MIRACLES

The time of awakening hearts to some harsh realities in our world has hit a snag. The changing of minds and acknowledgment of corruption seems to have slowed to a snail’s pace as many have simply dug in their heels and refused to believe what’s truly happening. The level of unbelief is staggering.

There are many issues in which we are still divided. There’s the stolen election, the Covid lies, President Trump’s return, crime families running the government, the globalist cabal takeover, child trafficking, Luciferian practices, and so much more. Even as some have woken up to a number of these truths, there are many still asleep. And they simply don’t want to be awoken. They have rolled over in bed and have no intention of getting up.

So, for those who are awake and want to do something about it – how do we proceed in faith? How do we muster our courage and resolve to press forward? What kind of hope do we have for breakthrough while knowing a vast majority of the population will not go with us?

I find an interesting pattern in Scripture that gives us a clue. It seems that God not only causes some of this hardness of heart, but He actually uses it for His advantage – and ours.  Consider these examples:

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, THAT I MAY SHOW THESE SIGNS OF MINE AMONG THEM, and that you may tell in the hearing of your son and of your grandson how I have dealt harshly with the Egyptians and what signs I have done among them, that you may know that I am the Lord.” (Exodus 10:1-2 ESV)

  • God hardened Pharoah’s heart so that He could SHOW HIM the true scope of His power and establish a lasting legacy.

But Sihon the king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him, for the Lord your God hardened his spirit and made his heart obstinate, THAT HE MIGHT GIVE HIM INTO YOUR HAND, as he is this day. (Deuteronomy 2:30)

  • God hardened another king’s heart so that his enemies could overcome him.

A partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And in this way all Israel will be saved… As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. (Romans 11:25-28)

  • God allowed hardened hearts in Israel to provoke jealousy when the Gentiles were blessed.

And He looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, and said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored. (Mark 3:5)

  • Hardened hearts signaled the time for miracles!

It seems as though God is not stopped by hardened hearts. Man’s rebellion does not dissuade His intentions or hinder His working. If anything, He uses it – even fuels it. It sets the stage for miraculous intervention and breakthrough for those who believe!

Perhaps we are at a threshold of miracles! Perhaps the logjam of unbelief is signaling a time of “greater things!”  Rather than being discouraged at all the naysayers and doubters, let’s consider the possibilities. Majority rule has never limited God’s power and popular opinion has never determined His actions. History is replete with critics and rebels. God knows the hearts of men and has made contingency plans for their hardened unbelief. The power of those who believe seems to greatly outweigh those who don’t. Even as we continue to do our part is heralding the truth, God will do His.

Let’s press forward with the assurance that, regardless of who follows, we are still headed in the right direction. There’s a finish line ahead with a victor’s crown awaiting. I believe for those who are steadfast in faith, miracles will be our portion. That which is deemed impossible will be made possible as God reveals what HE can do. He will demonstrate to all that His throne is greater and His rule is higher. Unbelief will be overcome by His mighty acts and hardened hearts will melt like wax.

Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Our God is in the heavens; He does all that He pleases. (Psalm 115:2-3 ESV)

  1. Amen!! God never won a popular vote in the Bible. It is always a remnant that He works with. Johnny Enloe observed on Elijah Streams last week that most of us have undersold the sovereignty of God. I agree. He is going to do this with a remnant, with or without us. Isaiah 59 gives us a word on His sovereignty! Thanks for this encouraging article.

  2. Bless you Wanda for these revelations and encouragement. We stand on the Word of God and believe His promises. He will never forget nor forsake us. He loves us more than we could ever imagine. He is always for us. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. We are not defeated and we will never give up! This is our Great Exodus! Hallelujah to the Lamb! God bless everyone today!

  3. Amen! Thank you so much for the encouragement and perspective. God is moving! I’m so excited as we watch everything unfold, along with knowing we are covered by His blood! He has said so many times, do not be afraid and keep our eyes on Him. Amen and Amen!

  4. Yes and Amen! We need reminders that God is bigger than our enemies, more powerful than our enemies, and that God is faithful to His children! God is in control; He rules and reigns from on High – and IN OUR HEARTS.
Thank you so much for this gentle and very encouraging “rubuke” that reminds us to keep our eyes on Him Who sits on the Throne on High! Glory!!! We give Him all praise!!
I don’t WANT to see, I don’t LIKE what I see, and I HATE what I see going on in our beautiful country, but I KNOW it IS going on and that I MUST see it! I must see it in order to pray, to intercede. I must see it it in order to bind and lose. I must see it in order to take a stand with God’s Sword of His Word held tight and high in my hand. I must see it in order to be decreeing God’s Word, will, plan and purposes over America, other countries and world situations. We cannot have our “heads in the sand” in refusal to see, to be aware, in these seemingly dark days; we MUST rise above it in triumphant praise to our glorious King and our righteous and faithful Father-God.
Thank you, Wanda, for this great reminder and encouragement!! May God richly bless you and strengthen you. And may God multiply the use of your gifts – phrophetic wisdom, writing, etc (all enfolding) to reach more of His children – especially those who have grown weary, discouraged, bogged down, or stagnate!
    I appreaciate you much!

  5. Thank you Wanda, this was a truly encouraging word.
I am sorry to read from one of your previous posts that you and Bobby are embracing Harold Eberly’s teachings. Please rethink this. Harold is a partial-preterist believer. A deeper study of the Word will reveal this to be false teaching.

    1. We do need to be careful where/who we get teachings from, but we can also glean from “slightly off” places. We need to discern but not judge. And walk in wisdom not criticism… Lord, if any of us are in error, in deceit, or wrong teaching or doctrine, please open our eyes and show us! And grant us mercy as we extend mercy.

      1. Sue, I am saying this peacefully, not with any bad feelings toward you but would you say these same words to the Apostle Paul? He was stoned to death, beaten again and again, flogged, hated, chased out of town and so much more because he spoke against false doctrine and taught of the new covenant, which the people had a hard time accepting.. He had great wisdom AND yes, at times he criticized and rebuked.
Gleaning is different from embracing ones false doctrine. The statement “we should discern but not judge”. That is simply not true. There is a place where we should not judge but there are times when we are using wisdom when doing so. And Paul absolutely did this too. Read the book of Acts, read Galatians. Paul was no weakling. He, at times, called people out for their false doctrine that was harmful and would cause people to stray from God’s truth. Paul loved people and saw himself as the Lord’s shepherd. A great shepherd. I love Bobby and Wanda, although I’ve never met them. I grew up around Amish and Mennonite people. I have a more tender heart for Wanda because of this. It is easy to say, “you are criticizing” when someone says something we don’t like. No, I brought truth. I love truth and I am willing to take a risk to speak truth in love. God bless you.

        1. Thank you, Penny. And I agree with you. I should have used the word condemn instead of judge, sorry. Yes, in the sense you are talking about we are to judge, absolutely!
Please pardon me for misunderstanding your original comment.

  6. This was so timely. I often get discouraged by the lack of awakening, even by family members who call themselves believers. We press on and press in!!

  7. Thank you Wanda for revelatory sharing. This word came just at the time needed in my life to know that I will proceed in faith and press forward, no matter who decides to come and God will melt the hearts of the hardened. It’s not my responsibility to melt their hearts, but the miracles of God will do what is necessary and use it for advantage. Such a timely word, personally and globally. Blessings to you
