This God—His way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.
Given the recent threats against those who support Israel, the Lord reminded me of a dream I had last November where I was in a high-ranking military briefing about a coming attack. Those around the table were talking about possible strategies in dealing with any covert operations of the enemy, as this had been the previous practice. But the commander in charge said that this time would be different. The enemy was planning an attack out in the open, on the ground – and we needed to be ready.
Then in the dream, I was immediately taken to a classroom where I was confronted by a man who had been found to be an enemy in our midst. He had grabbed a girl beside him – who was supposed to be his friend – and threatened her with a knife. However, when I looked at the knife, it was a butter knife and, though I was alarmed at his threat, I didn’t fear any great harm.
Then I was taken to another classroom where another man had grabbed his “friend” (also a woman) and threatened her with a knife. This time, however, he was holding a steak knife. Plus, he was also threatening me. In the dream, I remember feeling the “sting” of his knife and knew that this was starting to get personal. Where the first time I hadn’t been as concerned, this time I knew the threat was real.
But even though this threat had now become tangible, I didn’t have an ounce of fear. I was not even thinking of defending myself. Rather, I was thinking of how I was going to disarm this enemy. A righteous indignation had been stirred in my spirit when I saw these innocent lives being threatened. Instinctively, I knew his weapons were inferior to mine and I just needed to know which of my tools to use – and to do it quickly. I knew I had the advantage – I had been prepared for this. I just needed to use the authority I had without hesitation.
I believe the Lord reminded me of this instructive dream (note the “classroom”) to apply to the current threats in our nation. As our divine Commander in Chief, He is showing us how to face our spiritual adversary without fear. The insurgence of potential terrorists from our southern border is very real. What we have been watching from a distance concerning the violent hostilities towards Israel – has likely come through our back door. But we must remember that this is a spiritual war, first and foremost. When we confront and deal with our spiritual adversaries, every enemy must bow to the Living Word.
The overriding message in this dream was not to fear any threat of attack, but to know that He has made us ready to defeat the enemy’s tactics. We do not have to yield to any threat of violence or terror because our God has made us victors. When we build up our faith through His Word, the weapons of our warfare win every time! Where our spiritual adversaries propagate fear, our God has armed us with power to defeat every avenging foe!
We must take a position of offense – not defense. We have been given legitimate spiritual authority over every enemy that opposes God. We should not fear them. They should fear the power of God in US! Regardless of our proximity to the battle, the demonic spell that is stirring up hatred and violence in many nations around the world can be broken by a true son and daughter of the reigning King.
So stand firm, my dear friends. Know that you have been armed for the battle. Use the spiritual weapons you’ve been given and see how the power of the risen Christ works through YOU.

PS, Bill Weather’s book entitled “World War III and the 6000th Year”, available on Amazon, came across a social media post that I read recently. This intrigued me so I purchased and read the book (quick read and inexpensive). There is in-depth research regarding tying the Second Coming of Christ to the 6000th year. Mr. Weather also receives dreams and interprets them, some of which he included in this book. I was wondering if you’re familiar with Bill Weather and this book and if you could comment. Thanks!
