WHO WILL RECOGNIZE THE ARM OF THE LORD?!

When Jesus had said these things, He departed and hid Himself from them. Though He had done so many signs before them, they still did not believe in Him, so that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: "Lord, who has believed what he heard from us, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"

My hand is raised as I am about to strike My enemies and shatter their reign, but there are many who have yet to believe and see the justice of My ways. I have heard the outcry from My people and have determined to answer. And yet, because some love the glory that comes from men more than the glory that comes from God, agreement is lacking among the saints.

“Nevertheless, many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.” (John 12:42-43)

Blinded by man-centered arguments and earthbound predictions, many cannot see the Love behind My sword. It is only in separating the truth from the lies and the pure from the profane that My righteousness can prevail. And though a false mercy will pull many to the wrong side, I call for discerning minds to take a stand against the enemy behind the curtain.

For My justice is not merely vengeance or retribution against your adversaries, but the salvation of souls and transformation of nations. I do not war as men, nor do I fight to prove My cause. I know the beginning from the end and your enemy has already been defeated. But even as My hand is raised, I am looking for My people to agree with Me and execute My justice through declarations of righteousness and holiness.

“Your right hand, O LORD, is majestic in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has shattered the enemy.” (Exodus 15:6)

I do not speak of men as My enemies, but the powers behind their masks. For these who feign power are mere puppets of spiritual powers beyond the natural order. It is toward these enemies that My hand is raised and about to come down upon their heads. I will bring down the mighty from their thrones and exalt those of humble estate (Luke 1:51-52). I look for a people to exercise the arm of the Lord through righteous decrees and declarations of Kingdom purposes.

Do you recognize the arm of the Lord? Will you believe and proclaim My truth above the propaganda of men? Who will stand in the gap and agree with heaven? Do not look for affirmation from flesh, for it is only those who judge by My Spirit that will stand on the right side of history and determine the future to come.

ADDENDUM:
Even as our Champion of Hosts contends for victory over our spiritual adversaries, He reminds us to have the right posture in battle. For it is not zeal alone that will win the day, but a depth of fiery love that must be our primary motivation and the fuel with which to burn up His enemies.

THE FURY OF HIS LOVE

Do you realize there is spiritual power in compassion? When Jesus was moved with compassion He opened blind eyes (Matt 20:34), fed the multitudes (Matt 15:32), healed the sick (Matt 14:14), and even raised the dead (Luke 7:13). It was His intense love for His own that moved Him to take action and release His verdict against the forces aligned against them.

I wonder if the breakthroughs that are needed, both globally and personally, will not only come as a result of taking a righteous stand against wickedness, but standing alongside the suffering. It was the deep compassion of Jesus that moved Him into action, just as much as His fierce hatred of sin and the works of darkness.

Even as we ask for His truth to be revealed, our adversaries to be exposed, and thieves and robbers be brought to justice, so should we pray for His “Fury of Love” to compel us to action. Maybe it is when the Body of Christ rises with this depth of both zeal for truth and compassion for souls that heaven’s justice will be served.

  1. When you play chess, you aren’t playing against the pieces on the board. You are playing against another player. You have no hatred for the rooks and knights, though you do have to strategize on how to take them out of the game. Your opponent is sitting across from you; he’s not the chess piece.

  2. WOW. I so needed to hear and learn these things. This put puzzle pieces into place for me. Thank you so much for sharing this.
