I see a maze of the enemy’s making, designed to keep many locked in indecision and confusion as to their future. Feeling lost and without clear direction, many are wondering how to find their way out of this unseen labyrinth they have found themselves in. For many have faced unexpected twists and turns in their journey that have caused them to lose clear direction for their future. Unable to see a clear exit from the unpleasant paths they have walked, many are desperate to find the way out of the endless dead ends they have tried.
And yet, I see the Father overlooking this maze and those who are caught in it, letting them know He will lead them out – if they but LISTEN:
Do not look for a booming call or supernatural sign to bring you out of the web of twists and turns you have faced. It is My still small voice that must be the primary voice to bring you out of this maze. It is only by carefully listening to My subtle but distinct promptings that you will be led out of the labyrinth of distractions and disappointments the enemy has designed for you. You don’t need to see the exit door at the end. Merely trust Me to get you there. I will not give you the blueprint, but will take you step by step – if you listen and follow.
Be aware of the voices you heed, for many will only take you deeper into this maze that leads you nowhere. Do not listen to Fear for he will always bind your feet and overwhelm you with dread, causing you to stop and give in to the darkness. Do not listen to Doubt for he will cause you to lose your footing and blind you to all the possibilities I have in store for you. Do not listen to Impatience for he will cause you to choose paths that are not covered by My grace and protection. Do not listen to the voices pulling you to distraction in order to avoid the work of obedience that is required. They will merely prolong your journey and wear down your resolve. If you lean into Me, I will quietly direct you to the left or to the right and lead you out of this maze, sooner and stronger than imagined.
“And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.” (Isaiah 30:21)
But you must quiet your soul if you are to hear, for I will not shout nor will I beg you to listen. It is only from the depth of still waters that My Spirit can flow without hindrance or delay. For My aim is to not merely bring you out, but bring you closer. I am drawing you into My heart where you will find the answers you’ve been seeking. But you must trust My directives even when they seem counter to your own plans.
Discover the hidden road through this maze where the enemy has no authority and cannot touch you. Lean into My voice and listen closely. For this maze is not your prison, but a road you must travel. For in following My lead, you will not only defeat the plans set against you, but receive an even greater capacity for overcoming authority in the exploits to come. Follow My voice, one step at a time, and prepare for a surprise exit that will amaze even you. What the enemy has designed for your downfall will become the very road to your destiny and the tool of your triumph.

As with so many who have replied, I too needed to hear this word today! The Lord just told me, while I was journaling, that the battle is His and the change that is coming is nothing that I think it will be! Your word is confirmation! God is good!

I really needed this today. I’m on a new path and find it difficult to hear him but trust that he will. So laying that anxiety down and simply trusting and listening the best I can.

Thank you Wanda for posting this timely word of exhortation. The word “Maze” so well describes the situation I’ve been stumbling in for a number of years. And a few days ago I had a dream in which I was desperately trying to find my way out of a maze.
God is speaking directly to my situation and this post is great encouragement. I will heed his caution to not succumb to fear doubt or distraction. I was looking for a sign or some big booming voice pointing to the exit.
Now I will simply lean in to hear his quiet whispers as he leads me through. He is bringing out with a surprise exit.
Magnificent Word. Our Lord wants us to LISTEN and RADICALLY OBEY!!!!! He has a plan and purpose for every Believer!!! God bless you, Wanda Alger. You are doing a great work for such a time as this!!!!!!

If we try to figure out the maze, or even what is around the next corner, we will get off the pathway. Stay on the pathway. Lean not to your own ways of trying to figure it all out. It’s a distraction of the enemy to take you out of His peace. If tempted to want to know what, why, where, when and how? Know, be intimate with this… The great I Am is in control of your what, why, where, when and how of your life. Then refocus your focus onto Him!
Totally on the button. Word for word i have experienced this. Sought the Lord in the maze and heard His still small voice which lead me out of a 4 year maze post ordination. This is how He works. Worship Him and remain faithful. He will do it. Thank you Wanda 🙏
