Patricia King has been a well-established leader in the prophetic movement for decades. Her name has come up recently, specifically in regards to Todd Bentley. She helped launch his ministry and gave him spiritual oversight for a time. But, where does she stand now? How has she been processing all the recent exposures and where does she stand concerning sexual abuse in the Church and the growing tide of victims coming forward?
In Part 1 of this conversation with Patricia, she shares her incredible testimony of coming to Christ. Being a victim of sexual abuse, herself, and dabbling in the occult, she tells how Jesus met her and set her free from the bondage and lies with a profound sense of His unconditional love. It compelled her to start sharing that Truth with anyone who would listen.
Patricia knew Todd Bentley when he first came to the Lord and saw the gifts of the Spirit emerge in his life as he would spend hours in prayer. She saw both the rise and fall of this minister-turned-predator and fills in a lot of gaps about his journey, as well as insight into the current exposures taking place elsewhere. Not only does she provide some missing details concerning abuse in the Church – she carries a clear charge to those now sounding the alarm.
In Part 2 of my conversation with Patricia King, we talk about the current exposures and how Patricia has processed the news, especially since many are her ministry peers. We talk about online conversations and a spirit of accusation that has been attacking both the victims, as well as the truth tellers. She addresses why some of her colleagues may not be speaking out about this issue. And we talk about the needed reforms in the Church and how to adequately bring healing to the many victims coming forward. If you are following these stories to any degree, you will want to hear Patricia’s wisdom and insight as we navigate the storm together.

What about Joseph Z ? . He does a lot of prophesies. Is he legitimate?
I have watched Joseph Z from a distance and felt that his words often carried inspiration and clarity. However, his recent appearance on Daystar, in the midst of their exposure, is very troubling. Still watching…
I watched this interview with Patricia King and came away shocked and a bit dismayed by hearing how someone so obviously gifted could turn back and fall into such depravity and corruption. This shows me how vital it is for those in ministry to have a spiritual covering from someone or some group of believers that will help them to remain accountable before the Lord, to be sure that they remain humble and realize that they are only operating within the boundaries of God’s grace.
Hi Wanda. I heard a prophecy (time will tell if accurate) that the “exposures”/God cleaning His house, will continue through 2025 and into 2026. This person stated the exposures have only just begun. Your thoughts?
A very good interview, Wanda! I have known about this need of ministers to be accountable my whole life in the church. (Raised in the church, & a father who had been a minister, & was a pedophile.) It is a matter of PRIDE & if one looks even closer, a hunger/love for/of $! Patricia is so right, in that when ministers do things, others follow, I’ve seen it myself. Not just other ministers, but their flock! Even when in Scripture it says NOT to do whatever it is. It is a corrupting of the Body of Christ! And the church becomes a cesspool, & everyone keeps their mouths shut, because they’re told, “You aren’t to speak ill of the Pastor!” WHY we need God’s help in reform! We’re men & women, & are fallible. ONLY with Gods help can we get this right!
Thank you, Patricia King, absolutely inspiring and I’m so thankful for you to share your testimony and I appreciate your Love and devotion to obedience to Jesus and sharing in all the dangers of conformity through the compromises you have witnessed!!! I love y’all so much! God bless you and thank you!!!
Wanda,
Thank you for your wisdom in these conversations. So far, I have missed any discussion of the role the BODY, so called SHEEP, play in this whole issue. We make heroes of charismatic young “prophets.” They are applauded. given big platforms and promoted shown off in carnival like shows. Toooooo much, way too soon. no wonder the get puffed up and as we know pride comes before a fall. WE LITERALLY SET THEM UP TO FAIL AND FALL. Then we OH SO righteously throw them down like yesterday’s news and go on chasing the next high, the next SUPER HERO. Looking for sensational entertainment, and like herds of sheep, WE search out the next BIG SHOW. Given media exposure, WE make celebrities of way too many people. so that even seasoned Christian “leaders” fall into the trap. Brothers and sisters,
Let’s all grow up and put our focus on celebrating YESHAH, JESUS our LORD and HERO.
If Patricia puts it in writing I’ll read it.
However Todd’s youthful sins were never secret.
He was advised by leaders not to make that part of his testimony because that’s a scarlet letter then and now.
However. Rick Joyner. Bill Johnson. John Arnott. Peter Wagner are unable to discern the holy Spirit? Maybe Bobby Connor.
Jesus said he will separate the sheep from the wolves. And the danger is harming the sheep if yanked out prematurely.
Patricia ‘s real name was Cocking. Same as my mother’s side of the family. Patricia had to change it.
