It’s time to cut the soul ties and destroy the idols. We have been praying for a resurgence of the fear of the Lord to the Church. This is how it starts. These exposures cannot be wasted on debates, gossip, and defending false gods. It’s time to lay down our ministries and ask for true Mercy.
What would Matthew 23 sound like today? How would Jesus address some of the religious leaders of today who have preoccupied themselves with appearances and earthly reputation – even worse – violated the innocent and desecrated His House?
The exposures of sexual sin and moral compromise in the camp are but a symptom of a much larger problem. Deviant behaviors and ungodly practices are but the overflow of the heart and mind. In bringing these fruitless deeds to the light, the very thing the Lord is uncovering is a lack of holiness and purity within His House.
Whether it be victims courageously sharing their stories, whistle blowers bravely exposing the lies, or leaders finally confessing their faults, humility can yet be demonstrated through our collective voices. We must not allow satan any more footholds in either our personal lives, or in our collective witness to the world.
Then He interrupted my thoughts:
“Are you living from your current state – or from My finished state?”
Do not allow the enemy to rob us of His words through those He has called, gifted, and anointed to speak them. Trust that HE will demonstrate His blessing on the words spoken and rightly distinguish between the imaginations of men and the true revelations of the spirit.
Much of what we have understood about ministry and our commission is about to radically change. And it’s not about being raptured out, but rather being upgraded to an entirely new wineskin. And to enter into this new era, we need to leave behind outdated mindsets, doctrines, and beliefs that will no longer be relevant in the days ahead.
If we believe we are in a spiritual war, we may have just won a major battle, but the war is not over. Yes, our victory has already been secured through Christ in the heavenlies, but on the ground, we still have work to do. The spiritual adversary that seeks to finish his plans for our destruction, is not going away easily…
It has always been My will and intention to showcase My glory and might through you. The more you draw from Me and truly BELIEVE, the greater the manifestation of My glory will be. This is not the end, but the beginning.
